G’day. It’s time for Emma Watson and the Interwebz, in which I examine a little piece of the relationship between Emmy Dearest and the Good Folks on the Internet. And the rest of the internet, those who make my sweet little obssesion look like a mild distraction.
With my elite team of hackers working hard on getting the codes to Emma Watsons MySpace account, I’ve taken a new direction. Honestly I don’t know what the point of hiring Hugh Jackman, John Travolta and Halle Berry if they can’t even hack that! I mean I even kidnapped Jackman’s daughter and strapped bombs to a whole lot of people for crying out loud. Then I faked my own death and that of my associates only to blow up more things and steal more indentities. It was a bit of tiring week.
So, what I’m doing right now. I’ve discovered, not at all to my surprise, that there are several Fan clubs and Fan Sites, entirely dedicated to Hermoine! Of course many of these are populated by young teens, who still believe that one day they will be discovered to have magical blood and head off to Hogwarts to have adventures which will give them severe mental scarring, just like Harry! Yippee! Then there are the obligatory creepy older guys, who fantasise about Ms Watson and the sites younger inhabitants: often together. And I dont mean drinking tea, together. Coffee maybe. GASP! Coffee! Not the black menance! Which I mean in a totally not racist way. I mean it hypes you up and can give you stomach problems and addiction. Coffee, not black people.
And then there are cool people like me who really want to get to know her before doing nasty things to her body.
Now, I know someone like Emma would totally hang around her own fansites, just shooting the breeze, getting to know people, staying down to earth and hooking up with infatuated boys from Australia. So I signed up to a couple.
The Leaky Cauldron- An all purpose Harry Potter Fan Site.
Emma Watson Fan Forum. It’s a lot of fun.
An Unofficial Emma Watson Fan Site.
And the number one, Harry Potter themed Social Network MuggleSpace. Like MySpace. Get it? More on MuggleSpace later.
And of course the rather gorgeous official Fan Site.
Explore the sites. They are…interesting. People take things a little too far. But we already know that, dont we?
At some point in the near future I will bring you reviews and explorations of all these places. Until then, laters!

Some people take things way too far on the internet. Like planning elaborate fake spy missions to track down an anonymous blogger that lives not too far from me. At some point, it just gets weird…
You should stop hanging out with us if you ever hope to be normal, Campbell.
